Southport Trip This Saturday: The OLLY bus wheels will be going round and round this Saturday taking the children to Southport. We’d like to thank our qualified session workers and our driver for the day, Dave, for making these trips a reality.
The bus took the OLLY children to the Tam O’Shanters Urban Farm and Birkenhead Park on Friday. On Saturday the bus brought the children to OLLY’s own activities room for Arts and Crafts amongst other activities. Many thanks to Tam O’Shanters, our session-workers and Dave the driver for making the days out possible.
The wheels on the OLLY bus went round and round once again on Monday 15th February. It took the OLLY children to the Yellow Sub’s excellent play area. Many thanks to Yellow Sub, our session-workers and Dave the driver for making the day out possible.
Today the OLLY children are at the Yellow Sub, a great play area. On Wednesday they are at the Fun Factor, another marvellous indoor play centre. On Friday it’s Tam O’Shanter Urban Farm. Then back at 6 Anson Street on Saturday for Arts, Crafts, DVD’s, Games and supervised PC Games. A busy week all round.
It took the children to the OLLY room for an Arts and Crafts session including making Valentine’s cards. Some lucky recipients have already received cards! As ever thanks all our qualified session workers and our bus driver, Dave, for helping make these trips happen.
Our Lost Love Years (OLLY) was created by Joseph, a young boy who lost his mother to murder.
OLLY provides children and young people who have suffered the loss of a loved one through acts of violence and also children from communities across merseyside with support and a range of activities designed at helping them to re-gain the fun in their lives and help them re-establish and make friendships following their traumatic experiences.
