As you parents know the children break up for a week from school on 14th February, We here at OLLY will be holding more sessions. On Tuesday 18th February the children will be presenting our Chief Constable of Merseyside Police, Andy Cooke with a plaque inside Anson Street. After the presentation the children will have a sing song for those who wish to participate on our karaoke machine, they will also be able to use our Ipads, there will be storytelling and memory jars for those children who wish to use them. There will also be pass the parcel and musical chairs.
For those parents who can make their way to Anson Street please do so but please inbox us to let us know.
The OLLY children will be attending the Maritime Museum Liverpool (Liverpool Children) where they will make pirate masks, treasure chest or parrot. After that session at 2.30pm there will be a performance which is called ‘Shiver me timbers’. This is going to be a great day out
Friday 21st February (Wirral Children, Birkenhead)
Lady Lever Hume Art Gallery as there will be a session on the Tizzy Drawings, there will also be lots of different activities ongoing through the day up until 3.30pm
OLLY is also preparing its plans for our annual camping trip 2020.
As you know every year it is brilliant. This year we have lots of different plans for this 5 day holiday break and lots of different activities. This camping trip is sponsored. It is all free of charge including all the food and a full day and evening up until 8pm at the Robin Hood Caravan Park where all the amenities are free to OLLY. This year the children will be attending the activities in the entertainment room where there is a stage. The children will be entertained by the Robin Hood entertainers, then there is a disco for the children again this is all free. There will be a coach that will take all the campers to the Robin Hood Caravan Park, the coach will pick up at 8pm arriving back at camp at 8.30pm.. On returning to the camp site our LED lanterns, battery operated will be outside every tent on their return. The children will have a great night’s sleep that night because they have danced their little legs off themselves. On the dance floor will be our amazing OLLY session workers.
Due to the limited space we will be inviting everyone into The HUB to take details of those of you who would like to go camping on this FREE camping holiday.
On Monday 24th February and Tuesday 25th February there will be meetings in Anson Street anytime from 10am up to 2pm on both days. Those of you who wish to make your own way please do so as we can reimburse you for your bus fares or we do have limited seats on our mini bus where our driver can pick you up but we need to know as seats are limited.
