Our charity relies on and works with volunteers and students who are looking for placements. Our office is on the first floor of our building. There is no dress code, it is what the volunteer feels comfortable wearing. We have several computer stations. The office is a friendly environment.
On placement we would obviously like any volunteer to be computer literate which will be including saving data files, scanning and saving data, compiling in our box binders replenished stock, some paper filing, google searching and printing. All of our volunteers must sign our Confidentiality and data protection agreements. We adhere to all the data protection rules and regulations.
Students wishing to come along on placement if they wish can bring a packed lunch and drink a fridge is provided in the office or we are a three-minute walk from Subway, Tesco (meal deal), café and chip shop.
We like our placement students to start at 10 am in the morning and until 3 pm, of course, we understand because we have worked with students on placement for a few years now that you will only be able to do certain days around your studying, if you contact us, we can work around that. You will be offering your help to our reputable charity. Thank you.
